My current practice profile consists of Occupational Medicine with the Canadian Armed Forces as well as ER work at the Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH). I am also a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner for Transport Canada. The QCH services both adult and paediatric populations and is the busiest in the city, with ER patient volumes now approaching 80,000 visits a year. In addition to my clinical and previous medical-legal work with the CMPA, I’ve had the privilege of being an examiner for the annual CCFP (EM) emergency medicine exam certifications for the past 12 years.
